Joan Emery is an artist based in Wellington, New Zealand.
She has worked as a professional artist for many years in many mediums and genres. All her work is of archival quality using only first class art materials.
Her work reflects many influences:-
- Work experiences: Registered Psychologist/ University lecturer
- Life experiences: an immigrant to New Zealand (born Joan Havard in Cwmfelinfach Gwent South Wales UK)
- Surroundings: the incredible New Zealand landscape and seascape
She has exhibited in many solo and group exhibitions, including the following:
- a monoprint in the juried 2013 NZ National Printmaking Exhibition,
- a collagraph in the juried 2013 International Print Exhibition held in NZ,
- and an oil painting in the juried 2013 BDO Northland Art Awards Exhibition.
Her work is held throughout New Zealand and in many other countries including Australia, USA, Canada, UK, Germany, and Japan.
